The most powerful thing anyone can do to help shift a situation is to practice being grateful. Practicing gratitude allows life to unfold with a greater sense of ease and joy. Take notice of positive things in your own life as well as in the lives of others. Celebrate other people’s happiness. They will feel it and appreciate you for it, and you will feel that joy and love in return.
This tip becomes especially powerful if you keep a gratitude journal. Find one or two things every day to be grateful for. I have been doing this for years and the changes have been extraordinary. It is like writing a thank you note to the universe. The more you practice this, the more you will find things to be grateful for. After all, what you give out comes back to you multiplied.
